Crushed by the wheels of post-industry

Me, having the rare honour of my name in newsprint in The Guardian, on the decidedly questionable regeneration of Park Hill at the hands of a claque of publicly funded bodies and a 'hip' property developer. A grim story, and one which appears in two versions - here's my original version, which is lacking the paragraph on English Heritage but includes more detail on the subject of the recent attempts to redeem a 'failed', 'utopian' (etc) public project via a typically intricate, tortuous and eventually credit-crunched private-public 'partnership' - and in which those responsible have been, as ever, rewarded rather than reprimanded.

Absolutely. But I can't believe I missed the opportunity for that excellent 'Crushed...' pun before. I must be slipping.
