Plakaty 111

A slight blogging sabbatical at the moment, due partly to a return to full-time Deptford dwelling, hence am currently reduced to posting in internet caffs run by strange grunting men, where my ability to sort-of-touchtype comes in handy as the keys are frequently worn and illegible. Normal service should probably resume soon. In the meantime, here's one with Vera Mukhina's snappily titled 'Worker and Kolkhoz Woman', as plonked atop the Soviet pavilion in the 1937 world's fair and used as the logo for Mosfilm.
